BACKGROUND
Louisiana Media Productions (LAMP) is a full service Production company formed in the spring of 2007. LAMP has a 22,000 square-foot professionally equipped production office with sizeable suites, suitable to run multiple productions at once. Not content to provide merely office space, LAMP can offer your production use of its fleet of trucks, a green screen, and other equipment. LAMP maintains close relationships with the state and city film commission, local crew and area hotels and rental car companies. The combination of services is unbeatable for a complete service menu.
Founders Jordan Kessler, Nick Thurlow and Jerry Gilbert are seasoned industry professionals who have years of experience with outfits such as Sonic Magic and Nu Image and have brought their vast knowledge of the Los Angeles film industry to Baton Rouge and opened all inclusive Production and Post Production companies. They have partnered with professional line producer and UPM, Dave Pomier, who moved down to Baton Rouge after working with several major films in Shreveport, LA. LAMP’s inception fulfills the need for all encompassing film production services here in Louisiana.
LAMP’s team includes in-house general counsel, accountant, full time director of operations, an asset manager, as well as line producers, executive assistants, full-time receptionist, an internship program, and staff available to help your production move from script to screen.

MANAGEMENT TEAM
The core management team at LAMP includes executives with successful backgrounds in the film and banking industries, as well as experience with start-up operations.
Jordan Kessler, CEO
Former VP of Post-Production at Nu Image, Jordan has move than 40 major film credits and recently completed post on nationwide releases, including Wicker Man and Academy Award nominated, The Black Dahlia. He has already produced 5 films with LAMP since April 2007.
Nick Thurlow, CFO
Joining Sonic Magic in September 2002, Nick put the next stage of development into motion for the company. Since that point, the company has seen a growth rate of 50% per year for the four years following and has since been named CFO. Prior to his move to the film industry Nick spent twelve years in investment banking in London, Africa and New York.
Jerry Gilbert, Partner
Jerry has an extensive background in music recording and has since made a considerable impact in the world of post-production sound for movies. His extensive knowledge has been responsible for films such as Narc, The Life and Death of Bobby Z and Nomad and he currently heads up post-production at LAMP’s sister company, Louisiana Media Services.
Dave Pomier, President
Dave is LAMP’s resident professional UPM and line producer. He is knowledgeable in all facets of production, bringing more than twenty years of experience to the table. Beginning his career in the Indie film scene of the 1980’s, he also worked on films such as Crocodile Dundee and Raising Arizona, while moving his way up the production chain of command. Most recently, he has completed several studio films: The Cleaner, Homeland Security and Mama, I Want to Sing. Dave has worked with directors Spike Lee and Oliver Stone as well as major studios such as Fox.
